Systems Analyst

Role Description The Systems Analyst is a part-time, remote role responsible for evaluating, improving, and documenting technology solutions that support VILLAS’ homebuilding and business operations. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing existing systems and workflows, gathering requirements from stakeholders, and translating business needs into clear technical specifications. The role involves collaborating with IT and business teams to implement enhancements, performing troubleshooting of system issues, and supporting integration between various platforms and tools. The Systems Analyst will also participate in testing changes, maintaining accurate system documentation, and recommending improvements that enhance efficiency, data quality, and user experience.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Systems Analysis and Business Analysis skills to assess processes, define requirements, and propose effective solutions.
Candidates should possess solid Information Technology knowledge, including familiarity with enterprise applications, databases, and integration concepts.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills and problem-solving capabilities to interpret data, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
Candidates should possess competent Troubleshooting skills to investigate issues, determine root causes, and coordinate timely resolutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working in a remote, cross-functional environment with the ability to manage time and priorities independently.
Strong communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders and preparing clear documentation.
Experience with project coordination, requirements management tools, and basic knowledge of sustainable or construction-related technologies is beneficial.
