Vice President -Operations ( OSD)

🏢 1. Strategic Plant & Production Leadership
Execute Strategic Plans: Formulate and drive the annual operational business and manufacturing goals aligned with global enterprise targets.
Manufacturing Throughput: Oversee daily operations of large-scale OSD plant facilities
Resource Optimization: Manage capacity planning, equipment mapping, and baseline plant utilization across all active tablet and capsule manufacturing lines.
CAPEX & OPEX Management: Create, allocate, and monitor multi-million dollar capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets for plant expansion, modernization, and automation initiatives.
🧪 2. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance
Global Quality Standards: Enforce stringent compliance culture keeping the plant continuously aligned with cGMP, USFDA, EU-GMP, MHRA,
Audit Readiness: Host and directly guide site teams during internal, customer, and stringent regulatory health authority inspections.
Risk & Lifecycle Management: Authorize risk-mitigation plans, review critical deviations, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and manage data integrity protocols. [1]
⚙️ 3. Process Innovation & Engineering
Operational Excellence: Drive automation, Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and six-sigma methodologies to aggressively reduce production waste and down-time. [1]
Technology Transfer: Partner with Formulation R&D to supervise successful scale-up, validation, and commercial launch of new chemical entities and generic OSD products. [1, 2]
Digital Transformation: Advance the site’s technical infrastructure, supporting Computerized System Validation (CSV) for MES, SCADA, and Track & Trace serialization systems. [1]
👥 4. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Talent Development: Mentor and manage cross-functional heads of Production, Logistics, Quality, and Maintenance, while driving clear succession planning.
EHS Oversight: Champion zero-incident workplace cultures and strictly supervise environmental and safety regulation compliance. [1]
Job Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/M.Pharm), Chemical Engineering, or a highly related life-sciences discipline. An executive MBA is highly advantageous.
Overall Experience: Minimum of 20 to 27 years within pharmaceutical manufacturing, showing a steady upward trajectory in senior leadership roles (e.g., Plant Head, Director, or GM of Operations).
OSD Technical Expertise: At least 18 + years of direct hands-on experience managing high-volume, automated OSD unit operations (granulation, compression, fluid bed drying, encapsulation, and tablet coating).
Audit Track Record: Documented success in leading facilities through multiple successful approvals from international regulators like the USFDA
