Role Description The Chief Architect role is a full-time remote position responsible for defining and guiding the overall architecture of POLYN’s NASP-based edge AI and deep neural network solutions. This role oversees end-to-end system design, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and reliability across hardware, firmware, and software layers. Day-to-day tasks include creating and maintaining architectural blueprints, reviewing technical designs, providing guidance to software development teams, and driving integration strategies for internal components and external systems. The Chief Architect collaborates closely with product management and engineering leadership to align technical roadmaps with business goals, assess trade-offs, and set standards, patterns, and best practices. The role also involves mentoring technical staff, leading architecture reviews, and contributing to long-term technology vision and innovation initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong background in system and solution Architecture, including experience defining high-level structures for complex, distributed, or embedded systems.
Hands-on experience in Software Development, ideally in AI, edge computing, embedded systems, or real-time processing environments.
Proven ability in Integration of heterogeneous components, APIs, and platforms, ensuring interoperability, performance, and maintainability.
Expertise in Architectural Design, including modeling, documentation, design patterns, and technology selection for scalable, secure systems.
Demonstrated Project Management skills, such as planning, coordination of cross-functional teams, and delivery of complex technical initiatives.
Experience with deep neural networks, AI/ML frameworks, or neuromorphic computing is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with edge hardware constraints, low-power design, and real-time systems is an advantage.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Track record of technical leadership in senior or principal architecture
