Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Manager / Civil Engineering Director to lead civil engineering projects, oversee technical operations, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within budget. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, manage engineering teams, and ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee civil engineering projects from planning and design through construction and completion.
Manage engineering teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Review engineering designs, technical specifications, and project documentation for quality and compliance.
Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
Identify technical risks and implement effective solutions to address project challenges.
Coordinate with clients, authorities, and stakeholders to resolve engineering and construction issues.
Provide technical guidance and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Relevant experience in civil engineering, project management, or engineering leadership.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and project management practices.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects effectively.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and local authority requirements.
Professional engineering registration or relevant certifications will be an advantage.
