Middleware Administrator

Key Responsibilities
Upgrade & Patching: Plan and execute end-to-end middleware upgrades and critical patch updates (CPU).
Administration: Manage and maintain Oracle Fusion Middleware, WebLogic Server, SOA Suite, and OBIEE components.
Performance Tuning: Optimize JVM parameters, connection pools, and system architectures to ensure high availability.
Infrastructure Migration: Support the migration of middleware workloads from VM to Hyper-V environments.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, runtime errors, and system bottlenecks.
Documentation: Create detailed runbooks, upgrade guides, architecture diagrams, and post-migration reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Middleware Administration and Upgrade roles.
Oracle FMW: Deep technical knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c/11g infrastructure.
WebLogic & SOA: Strong expertise in WebLogic Server administration, Oracle SOA Suite, and OBIEE.
Migration: Proven experience shifting enterprise workloads from VMware/VM platforms to Hyper-V.
Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages like WLST, Jython, or Bash for automation tasks.
Environment: Solid experience managing large-scale, complex on-premises enterprise environments.
