About the Opportunity
We are looking for experienced Senior Data Engineers based in Pakistan to work remotely with US-based companies through our consulting firm.
Selected candidates will collaborate directly with US clients on enterprise data engineering projects. We are seeking professionals with strong technical expertise, excellent English communication skills, and a professional remote working setup.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, and AWS.
Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using Python and SQL.
Develop dbt models, macros, tests, and reusable data transformation frameworks.
Work with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, and IAM.
Optimize Snowflake query performance and data warehouse costs.
Collaborate directly with US-based engineering teams and stakeholders.
Troubleshoot production issues and maintain data quality.
Participate in technical discussions, Agile ceremonies, and client meetings.
Required Technical Skills
7+ years of professional data engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and AWS.
Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience building production ETL/ELT pipelines.
Strong knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and cloud-based architectures.
Communication & Remote Work Requirements
English Communication: Excellent spoken and written English. Candidates must be comfortable participating in technical interviews, client meetings, and daily discussions with US teams.
Interview Environment: A quiet, private, well-lit, and professional environment for video interviews and client meetings.
Camera Quality: A reliable HD webcam (720p minimum, 1080p preferred) with clear video quality.
Audio Quality: A clear microphone or professional headset with minimal background noise.
Internet Connection: Stable, high-speed internet suitable for video calls and remote collaboration.
Availability: Ability to maintain agreed working hours with US-based clients, including required time-zone overlap.
Compensation & Engagement
USD $4,000–$6,000 per month for each project.
Compensation depends on experience, technical skills, interview performance, and project requirements.
Candidates will work remotely from Pakistan through our consulting firm.
Project assignments and working schedules will depend on client needs.
