IT Systems Administrator

Role Description The Owner role at I Stand With Palestine is a part-time remote position focused on providing strategic direction, oversight, and coordination for the organization’s activities. On a day-to-day basis, the Owner will define advocacy priorities, guide campaign planning, and ensure that messaging aligns with the organization’s mission and values. Responsibilities include coordinating with volunteers and partners, overseeing online presence and communications, and reviewing content before publication. The Owner will also handle basic operational tasks, such as setting goals, monitoring progress, and ensuring that work is carried out in a non-discriminatory, respectful manner. This role requires consistent remote collaboration, use of digital tools, and regular online meetings to keep initiatives on track.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in advocacy, community organizing, or social impact initiatives, ideally related to international cooperation, peace, or human rights.
Strong skills in written and verbal communication, including the ability to craft clear, respectful, and persuasive messages for diverse audiences.
Proficiency with digital tools for remote collaboration (e.g., email, video conferencing, project management platforms) and maintaining an online presence.
Ability to develop and implement basic strategic plans, set priorities, and manage part-time workloads independently.
Commitment to non-discrimination, inclusivity, and adherence to applicable laws and regulations in all organizational activities.
Experience working with volunteers, community groups, or partner organizations is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with European and Italian socio-political contexts, or willingness to learn and research these topics, is an advantage.
