Role Description The AI Film Editor – OTT/Microdramas role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. This role involves editing short-form and OTT-focused video content, assembling footage, and refining storytelling with a strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual style. The editor will integrate AI-powered tools into the post-production workflow to enhance editing efficiency, generate variants, and optimize content for different platforms. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with directors, writers, and producers, organizing and managing media assets, performing color correction and basic sound adjustments, and preparing final deliverables in platform-ready formats. The role also includes experimenting with new media formats, maintaining consistency with brand and project guidelines, and meeting production timelines for multiple concurrent projects.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Film Editing and Video Production, with experience crafting narrative-driven short-form or OTT content.
Proficiency in Post-Production and Video Post-Production workflows, including timeline management, color correction, and audio refinement.
Understanding of New Media formats and trends, particularly for OTT platforms, social video, and microdramas.
Experience using professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and familiarity with AI-assisted editing tools.
Ability to interpret creative briefs, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and incorporate feedback efficiently.
Strong visual storytelling sense, attention to detail, and capability to work under tight deadlines.
Relevant education in film, media, communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Prior experience in digital content production, OTT series, or short-form video is highly beneficial.
