Annotation Team Lead - AI Training Data Project

We are looking for an experienced Annotation Team Lead to manage annotation operations and support the delivery of accurate, high-quality AI training data.
The role involves leading annotators, monitoring productivity and quality, providing coaching, and ensuring project deliverables are completed on time.
What You'll Do
Manage annotation batches from launch through delivery.
Convert project guidelines into clear instructions for the team.
Lead annotators and Pod Leads and set daily productivity targets.
Monitor quality, productivity, staffing, and project progress.
Conduct coaching, retraining, and remediation when required.
Work with QA and tooling teams to improve processes.
Identify and develop high-performing team members.
Report project risks, blockers, and progress to the Project Lead.
What We're Looking For
4-6 years of overall professional experience, including 2+ years in team leadership.
Experience managing teams against productivity and quality targets.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to simplify complex guidelines into actionable instructions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in annotation, data labeling, or AI training data projects is preferred.

Duration: 16 weeks
Schedule: 5 working days per week, including weekends as required
Working Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM PST
Work Environment: Fast-paced with potentially tight turnaround requirements
