About the role
We are looking for a Senior Automation QA with strong Python and Robot Framework skills to work on automated testing and validation of laboratory data transformations. The role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, consistency and quality when converting laboratory instrument data into structured formats.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in QA / Software Testing.
Hands-on experience with Python and Robot Framework.
Strong SQL skills and experience with data validation or reconciliation.
Experience testing structured data formats such as JSON, CSV and XML.
Knowledge of automated testing, regression testing and defect investigation.
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in regulated environments or laboratory systems would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining automated tests using Python and Robot Framework.
Validating laboratory data transformations and source-to-target data mappings.
Performing data quality checks and reconciliation using SQL.
Testing structured and semi-structured data formats, including JSON, CSV and XML.
Executing smoke, functional and regression tests.
Investigating defects, identifying root causes and documenting test results.
Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintaining test reports.
Ensuring test traceability and supporting audit-ready documentation.
