Are you a highly experienced dairy professional looking for the opportunity to shape the future of a growing dairy business?
We're looking for a Senior Dairy Lead Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our Dairy division. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused dairy specialist who combines strong technical expertise with a passion for helping dairy farmers improve productivity, profitability and herd performance.
As a trusted advisor to customers and a mentor to colleagues, you will work closely with progressive dairy businesses, industry stakeholders and the wider commercial team to deliver innovative solutions and sustainable growth.
What You'll Be Doing
Developing and growing key dairy accounts across your region
Providing advanced technical support in dairy nutrition, herd performance and forage utilisation
Building long-term partnerships with dairy farmers, consultants, vets and industry influencers
Identifying new business opportunities and driving profitable sales growth
Leading customer reviews, business planning discussions and performance analysis
Mentoring and supporting Dairy Specialists and wider sales team members
Delivering technical meetings, customer events and discussion groups
Contributing to strategic business planning and dairy growth initiatives
Acting as a key ambassador for the business and the dairy sector
What We're Looking For
Agricultural, Animal Science or related qualification
Significant experience within the dairy industry
Proven success in sales, account management and business development
Strong technical dairy nutrition and herd performance knowledge
Commercially focused with a results-driven mindset
Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills
Ability to inspire customers and support the development of colleagues
Strong planning, analytical and organisational capabilities
Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
FAR, SQP or equivalent industry qualification
Experience coaching, mentoring or leading others
Established network within the dairy industry
