Video Editor

Blue Ocean Digital Media is a Mumbai-based creative and performance marketing agency. Short-form social video is a big part of what we do, reels, UGC and product films that stop the scroll and actually sell. We’re growing our creative team and looking for a video editor who thinks in hooks, pacing and trends.
What you’ll do
Edit short-form video for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social platforms, including reels, UGC-style edits and product videos
Cut for retention: strong hooks in the first two seconds, tight pacing, and endings that drive the next action
Add clean captions and subtitles, sound design, music and trending audio that fits the brand
Use AI video tools to speed up production and test more ideas, faster
Turn raw footage and briefs into finished, on-brand content across multiple client accounts
Keep up with social trends, formats and editing styles, and bring ideas to the table
Manage volume and turnarounds without letting quality slip
What we’re looking for
1 to 3 years of experience editing short-form social video
Strong in Premiere Pro and CapCut (After Effects or motion graphics is a plus)
Comfortable working with AI video tools like Higgsfield, Google Gemini and others, and keen to put them to work
A real eye for pacing, hooks, captions and what performs on social right now
Comfortable handling volume and quick turnarounds across brands
Someone who takes feedback well and cares about the small details

Work from office only. This is a full on-site role at our Ghatkopar office: Office 526, Ajmera Sikova, LBS Marg, Ghatkopar West, Mumbai 400086. No remote or hybrid.
Mumbai-based candidates only.
You must have your own laptop/system capable of video editing (we don’t provide one).
Office hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
