Web Designer Intern (Paid)
About Likuid Studios
Likuid Studios is a design and development studio building websites, apps, and brand identities for modern brands. We partner with founders whose product has outgrown their digital presence, mostly DTC brands in beauty, fashion, and lifestyle, and we rebuild everything from the structure down to the smallest visual detail.
The role
This is a paid, remote internship working directly with the founder. You won't be in a support seat at the edge of a big team. It's a small studio, which means your work matters from day one.
Most internships show you one slice of the work. This one shows you the whole thing: how a client first finds the studio, how the deal gets won, how the design comes together, and how the site goes live. You'll be part of every step.
What you'll do
• Design website pages, product pages, and app screens in Figma for live client projects
• Turn brand direction into polished layouts and design systems
• Help build and refine Shopify storefronts alongside the founder
• Create design content for the studio's social channels, including before and after redesign concepts
• Sit in on the process behind the work: discovery calls, proposals, design reviews, and delivery
• Keep projects organized and moving, from files and assets to client feedback
• Bring ideas. If you see a better way to do something, say it.
What you'll walk away with
• Shipped work for real brands to put in your portfolio
• A front row seat to how a studio finds clients, wins them, and delivers for them
• Direct feedback from the founder on everything you make
• Hands-on experience with Figma, Shopify, and AI tools used in a real workflow
• A reference from someone who actually knows your work
Who this is for
• You have a portfolio, even if it's mostly personal or school projects
• You're comfortable in Figma
• You notice the details most people miss: spacing, type, alignment
• You'd rather learn by doing than wait for instructions
• You can take direct feedback and run with it
• Bonus: Shopify, Webflow, Framer, motion, or front-end experience
How to apply
Share your portfolio and tell us about one website you'd redesign and why.
Next step: add a screening question that asks for their portfolio link, so you can filter fast before reading anything else.

Attention to detail, especially in spacing, typography, and visual consistency, with a portfolio demonstrating design work.
Ability to communicate clearly, receive and incorporate feedback, and work independently in a remote setting.
Curiosity about interface design for web, mobile, and AI-driven systems; prior coursework or self-directed learning in design or related fields is beneficial.
Eligibility to work as an intern according to local regulations; availability to commit consistent hours during the internship period.
