This is a rare opportunity to join the private foundation of an established global business leader, with a significant philanthropic commitment to health research.
We welcome experienced healthcare administrators, such as medical receptionists, secretaries, and patient or clinic coordinators, as well as nurses and other healthcare professionals looking to move into a coordination role. Experience can come from clinical settings, medical research, life sciences, or the wider healthcare sector. We also encourage applications from high-performing administrative generalists seeking to transition their skill set to a new domain.
This is a remote role based in Zurich, Zug or Lucerne, with regular in-person travel in Europe. It is split between healthcare coordination and team and programme support.
What You'll Do:
Healthcare Coordination
Coordinate medical appointments, screenings, and follow-ups across providers in Europe
Act as the main liaison with physicians, clinics, and pharmacies, ensuring results and next steps are followed up promptly
Maintain accurate, confidential health records and oversee medication management in line with best practice
Coordinate preventative and wellbeing services, including routine health assessments and diagnostics
Identify and evaluate specialist providers and services, and oversee related healthcare administration
Team & Programme Support
Provide coordination and administrative support across the Foundation's programmes, partners and grants, as priorities develop
Act as a liaison between German-speaking stakeholders and the broader team, ensuring smooth communication in both directions
Support regulatory and compliance filings with authorities, tracking deadlines and sending timely reminders to relevant stakeholders
Book domestic and international travel and accommodation for the executive and team
Process expenses and support general team administration, including maintaining accurate records
Prepare meeting materials and agendas, and support the logistics of virtual and in-person meetings
Manage calendar, appointments, and meeting coordination
What We're Looking For
Essential
Experience in healthcare administration or coordination within a healthcare-related environment
Fluent German and English, written and spoken
Organised and systematic, able to manage many moving parts across providers, countries, and time zones, and to build processes from the ground up
Absolute discretion and sound judgement with confidential personal and medical information
A clear communicator, able to translate medical and scientific information for senior stakeholders
Entrepreneurial and self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity and with taking ownership of a broad, varied remit in a small team
Desirable
Experience supporting high-net-worth clients in a medical or healthcare capacity
Interest in or exposure to healthcare, life sciences, or research funding
Experience supporting a small or growing organisation
