Role Description The Site Civil Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves overseeing civil engineering works at project sites, including supervising construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The Site Civil Engineer will coordinate with design teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues, monitor progress, and support planning and scheduling. Daily tasks include reviewing drawings, inspecting work, preparing site reports, and supporting storm water and drainage system implementation as required. The role also includes contributing to continuous improvement of site processes and ensuring compliance with company workflows and local regulations.
Qualifications
Solid foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret and apply technical drawings and standards.
Experience working as Civil Engineers on-site, including supervision of construction activities and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
Skills in Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking for civil infrastructure and building projects.
Knowledge of Storm water Management and related drainage systems, including design review and practical implementation on site.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS codes, local regulations) and basic proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, basic analysis tools).
Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and maintain professional relationships.
Prior experience in building services, infrastructure, or structural projects, especially within India, is an advantage.
