About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Data Scientist with a strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and quantitative analysis. In this remote contract role, you will contribute to improving AI model performance by evaluating data science outputs, developing technical problems, and identifying errors in statistical methods and quantitative reasoning.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate AI-generated responses to data science, machine learning, statistics, and quantitative problems.
Develop high-quality prompts, datasets, and reference solutions for AI model training and evaluation.
Identify statistical inaccuracies, flawed methodologies, and weaknesses in quantitative reasoning.
Assess the accuracy, reliability, and logical consistency of AI-generated analyses.
Provide structured feedback to improve AI model performance.
Apply data analysis and modeling techniques to solve technical problems.
Maintain high standards of accuracy, clarity, and consistency in evaluation tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
At least 1 year of professional experience at a recognized company in technology, finance, research, or a related field.
At least some relevant professional experience within the past 3 years.
Currently based in an English-speaking country.
Ability to communicate technical concepts, statistical methods, and quantitative findings clearly in writing.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to critically evaluate complex analytical solutions.
