Head of Software Systems & Business Enablement

For our client, we are seeking a Head of Software Systems & Business Enablement to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space.
This leader will oversee the strategy and management of enterprise software systems that support business operations and long-term organizational growth. The role will drive platform consolidation, modernize core applications, and build the operating model that connects technology teams with business stakeholders. This position will also identify practical ways to apply AI and automation to improve efficiency, standardize service delivery, and strengthen the overall software environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $180,000 – $220,000 annually
Responsibilities
Define and execute a multi-year systems roadmap aligned with organizational growth
Drive platform rationalization and consolidation in line with enterprise architecture
Identify and scale AI and automation capabilities within the organization’s software platforms
Lead system administration and functional support across the software portfolio
Build and lead a business partnership function between technology and business operations
Establish a systems service catalog with standardized intake and prioritization
Lead software implementations, upgrades, and migrations from requirements through stabilization
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
10+ years in enterprise applications, business systems, or digital transformation roles, including 5+ years in leadership
Proven success leading major system implementations and platform rationalization initiatives
Experience managing distributed teams and third-party software vendors
Strong working knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP and enterprise platforms, with familiarity in modern SaaS administration
