Senior CIAM Engineer – Auth0 & Okta

For our client, we are seeking a Senior CIAM Engineer – Auth0 & Okta to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.
This role will focus on designing and supporting customer identity and access management solutions that enable secure, seamless digital experiences at scale. You will partner closely with application teams to modernize authentication journeys, strengthen identity security, and improve onboarding for large user populations. The position combines hands-on platform engineering with automation and governance, supporting enterprise identity capabilities across the broader technology organization.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $124,600 – $207,600 annually
Responsibilities
Partner with application teams to create secure integrations with identity and access management platforms
Lead onboarding processes for SSO, MFA, and customer registration
Design and support CIAM solutions for millions of users
Manage identity infrastructure using Terraform and GitOps
Develop reusable tools and automated processes for onboarding
Implement passwordless authentication using modern technologies
Configure authentication policies and customer identity journeys
Qualifications
Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale identity and access management platforms
Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM protocols
Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) and federation
Proficient in implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Experience designing passwordless authentication solutions
Understanding of passkeys, FIDO2/WebAuthn, and risk-based authentication
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
Familiarity with GitHub workflows and CI/CD pipelines
