Product Architect – AI & Digital Products

For our client, we are seeking a Product Architect – AI & Digital Products to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space.
This role will shape the technical vision for AI-enabled digital products and help translate business opportunities into scalable architecture. The selected candidate will work across product, engineering, and business teams to evaluate emerging technologies, rapidly prototype solutions, and move validated concepts into production. The focus will be on creating intelligent, customer-facing and operational workflows that improve experience, efficiency, and long-term business value.
The ideal candidate brings a strong software architecture background combined with hands-on AI engineering experience, including modern cloud and distributed systems practices. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires balancing innovation, technical feasibility, and scalable design in a retail and consumer products environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $110,600 – $178,000 annually
Responsibilities
Identify emerging AI technologies to enhance customer experiences and business value
Translate business opportunities into technical solutions for digital products
Build rapid prototypes to validate product ideas and technical feasibility
Evaluate platforms and AI services to select the best solution for use cases
Design AI-enabled applications using cutting-edge technologies like LLMs and intelligent automation
Architect workflows that automate customer and business processes
Develop reference architectures that can be scaled into production
Qualifications
5-7+ years designing enterprise software or cloud-native applications
Strong background in software engineering with Python
Experience with Large Language Models and AI engineering patterns
Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
Proficiency in AWS or Azure cloud platforms
Solid understanding of modern software architecture practices
Experience in evaluating and optimizing AI technologies
