Senior Circuit Timing Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Circuit Timing Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.
This role will focus on timing analysis and signoff for advanced custom circuit macros used in deep submicron designs. The engineer will partner with a global cross-functional team to improve power, performance, area, reliability, and hardware security outcomes. The position also involves developing timing models and integrating AI/ML techniques into the design process.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $168,000 – $310,500 annually
Responsibilities
Participate in innovative processor design using deep submicron technologies
Collaborate with a global team to create circuits for hardware security and power management
Drive timing analysis and signoff for custom circuit macros
Validate timing of designs using STA and SPICE tools
Enhance power, performance, area, and reliability through detailed analysis
Develop timing models for unique custom macro designs
Integrate AI/ML techniques into the design process
Qualifications
BSEE or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering preferred
6+ years of digital circuit design experience for candidates with a master's degree; 8+ years for candidates with a bachelor's degree
Strong understanding of deep submicron process issues and digital design techniques
Expertise in STA tools such as Nanotime, Primetime, and Tempus
Hands-on experience with SPICE simulations and static timing analysis
Proven experience in timing constraints generation and management
Knowledge of low power circuit design techniques is a plus
