Software Engineer II, Frontend (Marketing and Privacy)

For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer II, Frontend (Marketing and Privacy) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will focus on building and improving customer-facing web experiences that support marketing and privacy initiatives. You will partner closely with product management, design, and analytics to deliver polished front-end solutions that are scalable, measurable, and aligned with business goals. The position also involves contributing to team processes, operational reliability, and a collaborative engineering culture.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $133,000+ annually
Responsibilities
Break down larger projects into actionable tasks and collaborate to deliver work on time
Support product development by working with product management, design, and analytics
Create and monitor metrics to help ensure operational availability of team artifacts
Participate in team growth activities, including the interview process
Contribute to a strong sense of community within the team
Qualifications
1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer
Experience shipping web applications using React or Vue
Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
Ability to translate simple problems into solutions involving multiple software components
Comfortable navigating large codebases and debugging other engineers' code
Demonstrated ownership of personal growth and a proactive approach to seeking feedback
Strong verbal and written communication skills
