Mainframe z/OS Systems Programmer:
· Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade z/OS operating systems and related IBM mainframe software products.
· Build and configure new LPARs from scratch, including system initialization, hardware configuration, z/OS installation, customization, and environment setup.
· Manage system performance, capacity planning, IPL activities, and ensure high availability of z/OS environments.
· Apply system maintenance, PTFs, SMP/E upgrades, and troubleshoot complex operating system issues.
· Configure and support z/OS components such as JES2/JES3, USS, RACF integration, TCP/IP, and system automation.
· Collaborate with infrastructure, storage, network, security, and application teams to support production environments and disaster recovery.
