Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, develop and integrate embedded software, board support packages and system-level components for connected products.
Develop and maintain embedded Linux and Yocto-based software platforms, including hardware interfaces and system integration.
Work with hardware engineering teams to bring up boards, diagnose system issues and resolve software-hardware integration defects.
Perform code reviews, debugging, static analysis and verification activities to improve software reliability, stability and maintainability.
Provide technical leadership, mentor embedded engineers and support engineering decisions across architecture, development and product delivery.
Skills Required:
14 - 20 years of relevant embedded and system-level software development experience.
Extensive experience developing production embedded software using Embedded C and Embedded C++.
Strong expertise in board support package development and embedded Linux system integration.
Hands-on experience with Yocto-based embedded Linux platforms and system customization.
Strong understanding of embedded architectures, hardware-software interfaces, debugging and software verification practices.
Good to Have:
Experience with firmware development, microcontrollers and real-time operating systems.
Education: Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related discipline.
