Role Description This is a remote Cloud Engineer internship role. The intern will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and services used by the Proconnet platform. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with deployment pipelines, monitoring system performance, configuring cloud resources, and contributing to documentation and basic troubleshooting. The intern will collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable cloud environments. The role offers hands-on experience with modern cloud technologies and practical exposure to a growing B2B platform.
Qualifications
Strong foundational skills in Software Development, including familiarity with at least one programming language and basic understanding of APIs.
Knowledge of Infrastructure concepts, such as servers, networking fundamentals, and system monitoring.
Understanding of Cloud Computing principles and experience or coursework with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Working knowledge of Linux environments, including command-line usage and basic system administration.
Basic experience with Databases, including relational or NoSQL systems and query fundamentals.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Ability to learn quickly, follow technical guidance, and collaborate effectively in a remote team setting.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interest in cloud engineering and DevOps practices.
