Role Description The Site Engineer role is a full-time position responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities, ensuring that engineering designs are implemented accurately and safely. The Site Engineer will coordinate with project managers, design teams, and on-site personnel to monitor construction progress, verify compliance with structural and civil engineering standards, and maintain quality control throughout project execution. Typical tasks include reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing site reports, preparing B.O.Q , managing communication between stakeholders, and proactively resolving technical and operational issues. The role also involves supporting risk assessments, promoting adherence to health and safety regulations, and contributing to continuous improvement in project delivery. Although remote, the position requires effective coordination with on-site teams and occasional travel to project locations when necessary.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong on-site and quality control skills, with experience overseeing construction activities and ensuring adherence to project specifications.
Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering skills, including the ability to interpret drawings, calculations, and codes relevant to building and infrastructure projects.
Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, enabling clear coordination with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients in a remote setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications or registrations are an advantage.
Proficiency in engineering and project documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar), and familiarity with international and regional building standards.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in construction; prior experience on Middle East projects is beneficial.
