About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Company Description Decouvertes Future Tech Private Limited develops advanced drone platforms to replace traditional high‑risk inspection methods that rely on rope access, scaffolding, and shutdowns. The company’s Vision series of multirotor and coaxial drones is engineered to operate close to industrial structures, delivering accurate inspection data while keeping assets running and personnel safe. Decouvertes serves operators across wind and renewable energy, power transmission, oil and gas, mining, cement, and telecom, and also builds surveillance and reconnaissance systems for defense and security applications. All design, prototyping, integration, and flight testing are conducted in-house at the R&D facility in Pune, enabling rapid development and mission‑specific customization of platforms and payloads. This environment offers interns direct exposure to cutting‑edge drone engineering and close collaboration with experienced engineering teams.
Role Description As a Drone Engineer intern, you will support the design, integration, and testing of drone platforms and subsystems in an on-site, full-time role based in the Pune Division. You will assist in mechanical and electrical integration of components, contribute to UAV assembly and prototyping, and help conduct lab and field tests to validate performance, safety, and reliability. Your day-to-day work will include basic programming tasks for flight control or payload systems, data collection during test flights, and documenting results, issues, and improvements. You will collaborate with engineers across robotics, aerospace, and software domains, participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and help refine designs to meet mission-specific requirements for industrial inspections and defense applications.
