Role Description The Doctors Consultants role is a full-time, on-site position based in Purnea. The consultant will provide specialized medical consultations, conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include reviewing diagnostic reports, prescribing medications or interventions, coordinating with other healthcare professionals, and monitoring patient progress. The role also involves documenting clinical findings accurately, participating in case discussions, advising on clinical protocols, and educating patients and families about health management and preventive care. The consultant may contribute to quality improvement activities and support training or mentoring of junior medical staff when needed.
Qualifications
Relevant medical degree (e.g., MBBS) with recognized postgraduate qualification or specialization in a clinical field.
Valid medical registration/license to practice, in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated experience in providing specialist consultations, clinical diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Strong clinical decision-making abilities and familiarity with current evidence-based guidelines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to maintain accurate medical records and adhere to ethical and regulatory standards.
Commitment to patient-centered care, cultural sensitivity, and maintaining confidentiality.
Willingness to work on-site in Purnea and participate in continuous professional development activities.
