Product Manager - Advanced Detection (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Product Manager - Advanced Detection (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role will shape the strategy and roadmap for advanced threat detection capabilities that help customers stay ahead of evolving security risks. You will partner closely with engineering, research, data science, marketing, sales, and support to translate threat intelligence into effective product direction and market-facing releases. The position requires a strong blend of technical depth, product judgment, and cross-functional leadership in a fast-moving security environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $120,000 – $180,000 annually
Responsibilities
Define and maintain the strategy and product roadmap for threat detection engines.
Collaborate with engineering teams to build and maintain technical infrastructure components.
Work with research and data science teams to understand threat trends and deliver defenses.
Partner with marketing to develop go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
Engage with sales and support to promote recent releases and guide product direction.
Conduct competitive analyses to stay updated on market activity.
Collaborate within a high-performing product team in a supportive environment.
Qualifications
3+ years of product management experience in detection content, SIEM, XDR, cloud security, or related security segments.
Experience building large-scale distributed systems.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective technology articulation.
Strong interest in new threat detection technologies and tools.
Proven collaboration skills with research, engineering, and product marketing teams.
Strong quantitative and business analysis skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making and improve efficiency.
Knowledge of cloud security products and the threat landscape is highly desirable.
BA or BS degree in a relevant field; Master's degree is a plus.
