Technical Lead – Process Controller

Job Requirements
Role Summary
Responsible for leading process control and automation initiatives to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. Provides technical leadership for process optimization, advanced control, and digital transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead process control engineering activities and automation projects. Develop and implement control strategies, standards, and philosophies. Optimize processes through PID tuning, APC, MPC, and analytics. Support DCS, PLC, SCADA, SIS, and ESD systems. Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance. Lead commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting, and RCA activities. Collaborate with Operations, Process, Instrumentation, and Maintenance teams. Ensure compliance with HSE, cybersecurity, and industry standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor degree in Chemical, Instrumentation, Electrical & Instrumentation, or Control Engineering. 12-18 years of experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Refining, or Petrochemical industries, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
Technical Skills
DCS (Honeywell, Emerson DeltaV, Yokogawa, Siemens, ABB), APC/MPC, PID tuning, Functional Safety (IEC 61511), SIS/ESD, HAZOP, LOPA, SIL, AspenTech, PI System, and process optimization.
Key Competencies
