School Bus Driver — Good Drivers. Good People. A Good Place to Land.

Mustang Transportation | Idaho Falls, Idaho
You can drive a bus for a lot of companies. We want Mustang to be the place you actually enjoy showing up.
A place where people help each other, take pride in their work, and can have a little fun while doing something that matters. Where being dependable still counts, treating people well is expected, and asking for help gets you help.
We’re growing, and we’re looking for experienced CDL drivers who want to help us build that kind of team.
Yes, we pay very competitively. Your experience and responsibility deserve that. But we also know a paycheck doesn’t make up for spending your day with people who make everything harder than it needs to be.
We want you to like the people you work with—and we want them to be glad you’re here.
Ask Us About the Mustang Way
Every company says it has a great culture. We’d rather have a conversation about what that actually looks like.
When we meet, ask us about the Mustang Way—what makes us different, what we expect from our team, and what you should expect from us. Give us your questions. The good ones, the tough ones, and the ones you wish you’d asked before taking your last job.
We’re not claiming we get everything right. We’re building something we’re proud of, and finding people who fit is a big part of that. We want you to get to know us while we get to know you.
The Driving Part
You’ll transport passengers on charter trips and/or daily school bus routes. That might mean getting students to school, taking a team to a tournament, or helping a group enjoy a trip they’ve been looking forward to.
You’ll be responsible for:
Getting passengers where they need to go safely and professionally.
Giving charter groups friendly, attentive service.
Reviewing trip details, routes, schedules, and fuel needs before departure.
Completing required vehicle inspections and reporting concerns promptly.
Keeping your bus clean, organized, and ready for the next trip.
Keeping dispatch informed when plans change.
Being someone passengers and teammates can count on.
You’ll Probably Fit In Here If…
You’re an experienced driver with a current CDL and the endorsements required for your assigned work. You have a strong safety mindset, a clean driving record, and can pass the required background check and drug testing.
You’re calm when plans change. You show up ready. You notice details. You’re friendly without needing to be the entertainment committee.
And when something goes wrong, your first thought is, “How can I help?” You understand that the person driving the bus, the person answering the phone, and the person fixing the bus all need each other.
Pay and Schedule
We offer competitive pay that recognizes experienced drivers, along with flexible, on-call opportunities based on your availability and our operating needs.
This position does not offer regular or guaranteed hours. Trips and route coverage are assigned as work becomes available. Tell us what you’re looking for, and we’ll discuss whether the available work is a good fit.
Sound Like Your Kind of Team?
If you want to do good work, work with good people, and help build a company you’re proud to represent, we’d like to hear from you.
Please apply through this posting. We’re handling applications here rather than by phone so we can give each one proper attention.
