Description supplied by the original job listing.

Company Description: FDE School is an industry-focused learning institution dedicated to developing the next generation of Forward Deployed Engineers who operate at the intersection of AI, engineering, product, and business. The school serves experienced software and technology professionals, emphasizing practical application over theory. Programs center on hands-on projects, real-world problem solving, AI engineering, system design, deployment, and client-facing execution. FDE School is built on the philosophy of “Learn. Build. Deploy.” for professionals who want to turn technical capability into real-world results.
Role Description: The Data Scientist role at FDE School is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Data Scientist will work closely with instructors, product leads, and industry partners to design and implement data-driven solutions that support both learning outcomes and real-world project needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and preparing data, performing exploratory analysis, building statistical and machine learning models, and creating clear visualizations and reports. The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to translate business problems into analytical questions, validating model performance, and supporting deployment of data products and decision-support tools. The Data Scientist will contribute to curriculum-related projects, mentor learners on data workflows, and help maintain best practices for data quality, documentation, and reproducibility.
