Behavioral Caregiver - $1500 Sign-On Bonus

What You Get To Do:
Some of the people we support experience significant mental health or behavioral challenges. These may include verbal or physical aggression, emotional distress, or other behaviors that require patience, sound judgment, and effective crisis-management skills.
A Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.
Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
What Makes You A Great Fit:
18 years or older
Valid driver's license required (due to transporting persons served)
Candidates must be comfortable driving to transport persons served as required
Some positions/locations may require your own personal vehicle and auto liability insurance based on the role

Prior experience with intense high behaviors, both verbal and physical
Prior IDD, mental health, psychiatric, and/or security experience is strongly preferred
