Chartered Accountant

Role Overview
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong experience in plant finance, costing, financial reporting, budgeting, and statutory compliance. The role involves managing day-to-day finance and accounts activities, ensuring timely financial reporting, and supporting business decisions through financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Manage annual budgeting, financial planning, and budget-versus-actual variance analysis.
Prepare and review monthly financial reports, MIS, and working capital reports.
Oversee monthly book closure, trial balance, provisions, and general ledger accuracy.
Manage plant accounting, inventory control, product costing, and cost of conversion analysis.
Monitor accounts payable, cash flow, bank transactions, and LC/BG-related activities.
Ensure GST compliance, input tax credit accuracy, and coordination with government authorities.
Manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) tracking, budget utilization, and ROI analysis.
Coordinate internal and statutory audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
Monitor insurance policies, claims, and related documentation.
Work closely with plant leadership, corporate finance, auditors, banks, and compliance teams.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA).
Experience: 5–10 years of relevant experience.
Strong experience in MIS, costing, plant accounting, and GST compliance.
Working knowledge of Oracle R12, particularly the OPM costing module, would be beneficial.
