Position: Senior Java Backend Developer
Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Experience: 5+Years
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Spring Batch to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications and batch processing systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable, high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch while working in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and support complex batch processing solutions using Spring Batch.
Create and optimize ETL-like data processing workflows for large volumes of data.
Design robust batch jobs, job scheduling mechanisms, and fault-tolerant processing frameworks.
Integrate applications with databases, external APIs, messaging systems, and enterprise platforms.
Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize application efficiency.
Participate in solution design, code reviews, and technical discussions.
Implement security, logging, monitoring, and exception-handling mechanisms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
Create technical documentation and ensure adherence to coding best practices.
Mandatory Skills
Core Java & Backend Development
4–8 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17.
Solid experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns.
Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
