Data Architect with Healthcare Domain

Job Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with deep expertise in healthcare domains—specifically payer, provider, and member data—to design, build, and optimize our enterprise data ecosystem. You will lead our data modeling strategies, bridge operational relational databases (RDS) with modern cloud data platforms, and architect scalable data solutions on Snowflake
Key Responsibilities
Healthcare Domain Engineering: Design and implement highly scalable data models capable of integrating core healthcare domains, including member eligibility, claims, billing, provider networks, clinical records, and utilization management.
Enterprise Data Modeling: Own the strategy and execution of conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Build robust structures for transactional (OLTP) applications, dimensional analytical systems (OLAP), and modern lakehouse architectures.
Snowflake Ecosystem Optimization: Architect end-to-end data pipelines and storage strategies within the Snowflake Data Platform, utilizing advanced features such as Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, and secure data sharing.
Relational Database Strategy: Design and maintain low-latency, highly available transactional database layers utilizing Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server backends), ensuring seamless data ingestion into downstream analytical platforms.
Governance & Compliance: Establish strict data classification, access controls, and auditing workflows to safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA regulations and healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, X12).
Healthcare Domain Expertise: Proven experience working extensively with Healthcare Payer (claims, premiums, billing, enrollment) and Provider (credentials, network directory, clinic locations) ecosystems.
Data Modeling Mastery: Mastery of traditional relational modeling (3NF) alongside analytical strategies such as Dimensional Modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema), Data Vault, and Medallion Lakehouse patterns.
Cloud Warehouse Expert 3+ years of dedicated hands-on architecture experience specifically using Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.
Relational Database Management Deep technical fluency managing production relational databases via AWS RDS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server backends).
Tooling & Infrastructure Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, ER/Studio), standard ETL pipelines (dbt or Informatica), and standard CI/CD frameworks.
