We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Solution Architect to design, build, and scale our next-generation data and cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will be the bridge between complex business requirements and cutting-edge technical execution. You will champion the architecture of our Snowflake data platform, integrate robust AWS cloud services, and design secure, scalable APIs to drive seamless data exchange.
Architectural Design: Define the end-to-end architecture for enterprise data platforms, focusing on scalability, high availability, and optimal performance.
Snowflake Leadership: Design and optimize Snowflake data warehouses, implementing best practices for data modeling, secure data sharing, virtual warehouses, and cost management.
AWS Cloud Governance: Leverage the AWS stack (e.g., S3, Lambda, EC2, Glue, IAM, EMR) to build secure, resilient, and automated cloud-native infrastructures.
API & Integration: Architect and govern robust RESTful APIs and microservices to enable secure, real-time, and batch data integration across internal and external systems.
Healthcare Compliance: Ensure all architectures strictly comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, HITRUST, and GDPR, safeguarding Protected Health Information (PHI).
Technical Leadership: Guide engineering teams through implementation, conduct code and architecture reviews, and align technical strategy with business goals.
Qualifications & Skills
Required Technical Expertise
Snowflake: Proven experience designing enterprise-grade Snowflake data platforms, including data pipelines, Snowpipe, streams, and tasks.
AWS Stack: Deep technical knowledge of AWS cloud services, infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and cloud security frameworks.
APIs & Integration: Strong experience in API design, management platforms (e.g., AWS API Gateway, Apigee, MuleSoft), and data integration patterns.
Data Modeling: Proficiency in relational, dimensional (Kimball), and Data Vault modeling methodologies.
Experience
Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in data engineering/cloud computing, with at least 3+ years acting as a Solution Architect.
Communication: Exceptional ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders
