Skills And Experience Required
The Business Analyst is responsible for defining product vision, prioritizing the product backlog, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product features that align with business objectives and customer needs. This role acts as the bridge between stakeholders, customers, and the development team.
Good to consider candidates having strong Business Analysis experience supporting AS400 and COBOL-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy
Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap and work closely
with Product Owner (Client business team)
Ensure alignment with business goals, market needs, and user insights.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback synthesis.
Backlog Management
Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog.
Write clear and concise user stories with acceptance criteria.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with engineering, design, QA, marketing, and sales teams.
Collaborate with Scrum Masters and development teams to plan sprints.
Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for product-related communication along with
Product Owner (Client business).
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s or Masters degree in business, technology, or related field.
12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience writing user stories and managing product backlogs.
German Language skills (C1 preferred)
Automotive / DMS domain expertise
Preferred
Certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent.
Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello and
Background in UX/UI principles or software development.
