Role mission
The position acts as the IT/Product Owner for IBM Integration Platforms within HC/BDO2. In this
role, you drive the global strategy, operation, and modernization of our IBM integration suite (IBM
MQ, ACE, IBM Sterling, and IBM SCBN). Your mission is to secure, standardize, and scale our core
application-to-application (A2A) messaging and critical business-to-business (B2B/EDI) supply chain
integrations. Operating within a hybrid multi-platform landscape, you ensure seamless data flows
across global transactional systems to support business operations and key post-merger integration
(PMI) initiatives.
Core responsibilities
Define the global roadmap and product vision for the IBM integration suite in alignment with our multi-platform strategy. Actively manage and prioritize the product backlog in an agile environment, translating complex business demands and B2B/EDI requirements into actionable user stories.
Establish global integration guidelines, security standards, mapping rules, and partnertemplates.
Ensure compliant, secure, and stable operations for internal messaging and external EDI data flows.
Collaborate closely with Integration Architects, other Platform Owners (such as AIS and SAP CPI), business units, and external supply chain partners to design robust, end-to-end integration patterns.
Oversee platform stability, SLA compliance, and cost-efficiency. Drive the technical modernization and migration from legacy gateways to modern integration patterns while steering external implementation partners and vendors (such as IBM).
Expected background and capabilities
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, Engineering, or related field
Strong experience as an IT Product Owner, Solution Architect, or Technical Lead in enterprise integration or B2B/EDI platforms, combined with a strong track record in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and leading international teams or external partner delivery squads.
Strong technical understanding of Microsoft Azure Integration Services (specifically API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Azure Functions). Experience with hybrid integration scenarios (connecting on-premises ERPs like SAP or Oracle to the cloud) is highly beneficial.
Outstanding stakeholder management and negotiation skills to act as a bridge between central IT, global business units (logistics, purchasing, sales), and external partners.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
