Role Description This is a contract , Auto CAD Draughtsman role based in Andhra Pradesh, India. The Auto CAD Draughtsman will prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans using CAD software, ensuring compliance with project specifications and established CAD standards. Responsibilities include interpreting sketches and design inputs from engineers and architects, updating drawings as per revisions, and maintaining organized drawing records and documentation. The role involves coordinating with project teams to clarify design requirements, checking drawings for accuracy and completeness, and supporting the preparation of construction and fabrication documents. The Draughtsman will also assist in integrating BIM workflows where applicable and contribute to improving drafting processes and templates.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and knowledge of CAD Standards.
Ability to create precise Technical Drawings and detailed Drawing layouts for construction and engineering projects.
Exposure to Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and willingness to work with BIM-based workflows.
Diploma or degree in Civil, Mechanical, Architecture, or related engineering discipline.
Previous experience as a CAD Draughtsman or Drafting Technician in construction, infrastructure, or related fields.
Attention to detail, strong spatial visualization skills, and ability to interpret engineering and architectural designs.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams on-site.
Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and best practices in drafting and documentation.
