Role Description The React Native Intern (Unpaid) will support the development of Cemzo’s mobile applications in a remote internship role. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing UI components in React Native, fixing bugs, and assisting in integrating APIs and backend services. The intern will collaborate with senior developers to test features, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to performance and usability improvements. The role also involves participating in code reviews, writing basic technical documentation, and learning best practices in mobile app development and deployment. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced product environment while contributing to a growing construction technology platform.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational skills in React Native, JavaScript or TypeScript, and mobile UI development.
Candidates should possess skills in REST APIs, JSON handling, and basic integration with backend services.
Candidates should possess skills in debugging, troubleshooting issues, and using version control tools such as Git.
Candidates should possess skills in responsive design, cross-platform compatibility, and basic understanding of Android and iOS ecosystems.
Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to learn quickly in a remote environment.
Relevant coursework or personal projects in mobile or web development are highly beneficial; familiarity with Agile or collaborative development workflows is a plus.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
