Gardener

Role Description The Gardener at Osm - Fratelli Giordano is a part-time, remote role focused on planning, coordinating, and supervising the care of outdoor and indoor green spaces. Day-to-day tasks include organizing landscape maintenance activities, advising on plant care, overseeing seasonal planting and pruning schedules, and coordinating irrigation routines with on-site staff or partners. The Gardener will provide guidance on garden design improvements, monitor plant health through virtual inspections and reports, and maintain documentation of work plans, budgets, and materials needed. This role involves regular communication with clients and colleagues, preparing recommendations, and ensuring that all gardening and landscaping activities align with sustainability and safety standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Landscape Maintenance and Landscaping to plan, coordinate, and oversee the care of lawns, borders, and outdoor areas.
Candidates should possess solid Gardening skills to advise on plant selection, soil care, pruning, and seasonal maintenance.
Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Irrigation to help design, schedule, and optimize watering systems and routines.
Candidates should possess capabilities in Garden Design to contribute creative ideas for layout, plant combinations, and aesthetic improvements.
Ability to work part time and remotely, with reliable internet access and strong communication skills for coordinating with on-site teams.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to create clear maintenance plans and reports.
Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture; formal training or certification in a related field is an advantage.
Commitment to environmentally responsible practices and basic knowledge of plant health, pests, and sustainable care methods.
