Role Description This is a part-time remote Gardener role supporting the maintenance and appearance of OCK Yangon tower sites and related areas. The Gardener is responsible for routine landscape care, including planting, pruning, weeding, trimming, and general garden upkeep to ensure safe, clean, and visually appealing surroundings. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring plant health, managing irrigation systems, coordinating seasonal maintenance, and reporting any site issues that may affect safety or access. The role may involve planning small garden layouts, selecting appropriate plants for local conditions, and working with site teams to align landscaping with operational requirements. The Gardener is expected to follow safety guidelines, manage tools and supplies responsibly, and maintain clear communication with supervisors and colleagues.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Gardening and basic Landscape Maintenance to care for plants, lawns, and garden beds.
Experience in Landscaping and Garden Design to plan and improve outdoor areas around tower sites.
Knowledge of Irrigation methods and systems to ensure efficient watering and plant health.
Ability to work part time and remotely, with strong self-management and reliability.
Understanding of basic safety practices for outdoor and site-based work.
Physical ability to perform manual gardening tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining clean, orderly, and well-presented grounds.
Prior experience in commercial or infrastructure-related landscaping is an advantage.
