Role Description
MaxUSMedia is looking for a Software Engineer Intern who is eager to learn and work on real-world software projects. The intern will contribute to developing, testing, and maintaining software applications, with a focus on web development and back-end systems.
Responsibilities include writing clean and maintainable code, developing and integrating APIs, working with databases, debugging issues, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with team members to improve product features. The intern will also get exposure to software deployment and development workflows while working under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Required Qualifications
Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development principles.
Programming knowledge in at least one language, such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
Basic knowledge of web development, APIs, databases, and back-end systems.
Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
Familiarity with Git, version control, and collaborative development practices.
Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a team.
Preferred Skills / Additional Perks
Candidates with knowledge or experience in the following technologies will have an added advantage:
Frontend: React.js and Next.js
Backend: Node.js and Java Spring Boot
Cloud: AWS
DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and deployment workflows
Experience with these technologies is an added advantage, but candidates with strong fundamentals and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
