Technical Service Engineer

Paheej Machinery also aims to be a long-term, reliable supplier of technological solution like multi-component Injection Moulding machine, Vertical Injection Moulding machines, vision based inspection solutions. The company is engaged in greenfield plastic industry projects, from machinery selection and sourcing to vendor development.
Role Description The Technical Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves providing technical services and support for injection molding, vision camera system including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair. The engineer will diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues, and implement effective corrective actions. Daily responsibilities include attending customer service calls, conducting machine health checks, preparing technical reports, and coordinating with project and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction. The role also includes training customer personnel on proper machine operation, safety procedures, and best practices, while contributing feedback to improve products and services.
Qualifications
Strong technical services and technical support skills, with hands-on experience in plastics processing machinery (injection molding prefered).
Excellent analytical skills and troubleshooting abilities for mechanical, electrical, and process issues.
Clear and professional communication skills for customer interaction, reporting, and cross-functional coordination.
Relevant technical education such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Plastics, or Polymer Engineering.
Ability to work on-site at customer locations, travel as needed, and manage multiple service assignments.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices, safety standards, and basic project documentation.
Prior experience in the plastic processing industry or industrial machinery servicing is highly beneficial.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, reading technical drawings, and basic computer skills for reporting and communication.
