Engine Mechanic

Role Description The Engine Mechanic role at ajit trading is a full-time, on-site position based in Satara Taluka. The Engine Mechanic will diagnose mechanical issues, perform routine maintenance, and carry out repairs on small engines and heavy equipment. Daily tasks include inspecting machinery, identifying faults, replacing or repairing parts, and testing equipment to ensure proper operation. The role involves working with hydraulic systems, following safety procedures, maintaining accurate service records, and coordinating with team members to meet service timelines. The Engine Mechanic will also interact with customers to explain work performed and provide basic guidance on equipment care.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Small Engine Repair and general Maintenance & Repair for mechanical equipment.
Hands-on experience working with Heavy Equipment, including inspection, servicing, and component replacement.
Knowledge of Hydraulic Systems, including basic diagnostics, repair, and safe handling procedures.
Effective Troubleshooting skills for identifying mechanical faults and determining appropriate repair solutions.
Ability to read and follow technical manuals, diagrams, and service instructions.
Commitment to workplace safety, proper use of tools, and adherence to company procedures.
Previous experience as an engine or equipment mechanic is preferred; vocational training or certification in mechanics is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site full time in Satara Taluka, manage physical tasks, and collaborate with a diverse team.
