Role Description Presently we are looking for Project Manager for recently, awarded Project at IIM Visakhapatnam. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards. This full-time, on-site role based in Visakhapatnam includes planning project schedules, coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, and monitoring progress at all stages. The role involves supervising project work on-site, resolving technical and coordination issues, reviewing drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. The Project Manager will prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and status updates, as well as manage risk, resources, and materials to support timely and efficient delivery.
Qualifications
Strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and stakeholder communication.
Solid background in Civil Engineering with practical exposure to Infrastructure and institutional projects.
Experience in Construction Management, covering site supervision, quality control, safety compliance, and contractor/vendor coordination.
Proficiency in Budgeting and cost control, including estimation, resource allocation, and monitoring project financials.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Familiarity with construction codes, standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to civil and infrastructure projects.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications; working knowledge of project management and construction software tools.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership capabilities, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams on-site.
