About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support a high-traffic, live production platform. The role focuses on troubleshooting production issues, resolving technical incidents, and maintaining system reliability. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of issues from investigation through code changes and deployment.
Must-Have Skills
3–5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong Java/Spring Boot expertise (top priority).
Python/Django as a secondary skill set.
React, Kafka, and GraphQL.
SQL and/or MongoDB.
Build, deployment, and production troubleshooting experience.
Experience with at least one of: Dagster, Data Lakes, or Amazon Athena.
Strong ownership and ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues within established SLAs.
Collaborate with Support and GTM teams to triage incidents.
Implement code changes, manage merges, and deploy fixes.
Monitor system performance and support integrations and architecture changes.
Nice to Have
Experience collaborating with Product and GTM teams.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf.
Strong communication skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
