Position Summary
The Commercial Front Load Driver safely operates a front load garbage truck on designated commercial routes throughout the service area. Drivers are responsible for servicing customer containers, conducting vehicle inspections, and providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate a Commercial Front Load truck in a safe and efficient manner.
Service commercial waste containers according to route schedules.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain accurate route and disposal records.
Ensure all assigned containers are emptied safely and completely.
Follow all DOT, OSHA, company, and local safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers.
Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or safety concerns immediately.
Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and equipment.
Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
Valid Class A or Class B CDL with air brake endorsement.
Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurability requirements.
At least 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
Previous waste industry experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
