Project Engineer – Prototyping & Manufacturing

About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Project Engineer to plan, execute and deliver prototyping projects for clients across automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, medical devices and consumer products. You’ll take each project from drawing review to finished part, working with our production team, vendors and suppliers to deliver quality prototypes on time.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Plan, schedule and track projects from kickoff to delivery.
Monitor progress and make sure every project is completed on time.
Design Review & Feasibility
Review 2D drawings, 3D CAD models and technical specifications.
Identify manufacturing feasibility concerns and design-related issues early, and recommend practical fixes.
Prototype Development & Manufacturing
Oversee 3D printing, vacuum casting and other manufacturing activities.
Make sure each part matches the customer’s requirements and specifications.
Quality & Inspection
Inspect parts and verify they meet dimensional and quality standards.
Maintain project documentation and inspection reports.
Coordination
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers and internal production teams to keep projects moving smoothly.
Who We’re Looking For
Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing processes and engineering drawings
Familiarity with 3D printing, vacuum casting or CNC is a plus
Good communication, problem-solving and project coordination skills
Detail-oriented, organised and comfortable working on the shop floor
