Role Description
The Website / App Developer roles. It's a 'Paid Internship' kind of job.
At IJORD both are full-time, hybrid positions based in Nagpur, with flexibility for partial work from home.
The Website/App Developer will design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and technically robust. Day-to-day responsibilities include building front-end interfaces, implementing back-end functionality, integrating APIs, optimizing performance, and maintaining cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
The role also involves collaborating with designers and other stakeholders to translate requirements into clean, efficient code, troubleshooting issues, and continuously improving existing web solutions. The Website/App Developer is expected to follow best practices in security, accessibility, and documentation while meeting project timelines.
Qualifications
Strong front-end development skills, including experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks for Front-End Development and Web Design.
Proficiency in Back-End Web/App Development and Programming using languages and frameworks such as Node.js, PHP, Python, or similar, and familiarity with databases.
Solid understanding of overall Web/App Development principles, including responsive design, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
Ability to translate design concepts into functional interfaces and collaborate effectively with design and content teams.
Relevant experience in building and maintaining production-level websites/App or web / App applications; portfolio or project examples preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and within a hybrid team environment.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic understanding of web security and accessibility standards is beneficial.
